Descriptif mission

Reporting to the Safran Landing Systems Director of IS Architecture and Cloud Factory the Enterprise Architect designs and implements an organization's reference architecture aligned to IS and business strategy in partnership with business representatives, the Deputy IS architecture and the EA domain leads.



The Enterprise Architect is responsible for contributing to the Safran Landing Systems information systems strategy and will work as part of cross-functional teams to develop and steer the information systems landscape for enablement of business success. This role will mentor and align the Enterprise architecture domain leads to bring together a consolidated and integrated design view aligned to the IS and business vision



A Enterprise Architect is expected to define architecture to address business goals and outcomes such as the following:

• Translate business requirements and align to project deliverables for the EA team expert panel

• Strong understanding of business process mapping

• Increasing speed to market for customer IS solutions

• Driving resilience and agility

• Improving security and governance

• Cost control and reductions of investment in on premise solutions



The Enterprise Architect responsibilities:

• Develop the strategy for the systems and application roadmap to prepare for the future in alignment with business needs

• Determine/translate business needs from requirements in early framing discussions with business stream lead delegates

• Promote Innovate solutions and continuous improvement

• Design and Review technical blueprints – Schema – High-level -Low Level Designs

• Lead/Mentor cross-functional teams and participate in Agile Squads with partners.

• Align EA Strategy with IS Vision

• Evaluate existing business systems and identify improvement and innovations to enhance business efficiencies

• Monitor and measure the outcomes of enterprise architecture initiatives using key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Evangelize Cloud First strategy and embed this in the progression if IS projects

• Provide strategic advice and present to IS Leadership insights for potential technology investment opportunities

• Write technical documentation and translate technical information

• Lead the Architecture Review Board panel and arbitration of technical decisions pertaining to the IS Architecture roadmap with support of the Director IS Architecture and Cloud Factory

• Pitch enterprise solutions, integrations, innovative ideas

• Challenge traditional design and assumptions from partners

• Manage multiple projects in parallel

• Relationship building

SAFRAN LANDING SYSTEMS recherche :

• Minimum 8 years' experience as Enterprise Architect
• Experience in a large Manufacturing organization with exposure to Factory 4.0 Operating Technology projects will be an asset
• Experience with edge computing and hybrid cloud and on premise design
• Experience and ability to assemble expert panels for Enterprise Architecture initiatives and align towards new strategies
• Expert experience in AWS Cloud but expectation is broad experience in multi-cloud solutions including MS Azure, GCP or others
• Awareness and experience in Compliance, regulations and IS Security frameworks
• Experience with Agile project management methodology including Kanban visual work management
• Strong business acumen to communicate with executives and align with business operations and strategy
• Strong collaboration and communication to successfully work with various internal and external teams
• Experience with or comprehension of legacy IT systems to design the blueprint to transform the legacy system to the cloud
• Visionary thought leadership to think big in cloud adoption and company strategy
• A strong technical background in areas such as data modeling, database design, application development, and system integration

• Ability to work in a global team
• Able to rationalize and present ROI for any solutions that would be presented in the architecture roadmap
• Mentor, coach and consult for Operations and functional teammates
• Attend meetings and provide consultative advice/recommendations
• Design solutions and proof of concepts (POCs)
• Prepare Architecture documentation
• Participate as domain lead for Enterprise Architecture in Project Management Office meetings, EA Design Review architecture committee, Architecture Review Board and other Enterprise Architecture IS sessions
• Effective leadership, communication, and project management skills

Training and certification

• Mandatory Certifications - Enterprise Architecture certification – TOGAF Foundations training is preferred, Certified Enterprise Architect or other
• Preferred certifications AWS Solutions Architect Professional, CCSK Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge or equivalent
• Experience with various IT frameworks, such as TOGAF or Zachman2, as well as cloud technologies, security protocols, and emerging technologies
• Experience with Archimate modeling and at least one other EA tool such as LeanIX, Archi, Alfabet or Aris
