Pilot Plant Process Equipment Engineering & Installations Projects Manager / Senior Engineer
My world class manufacturer client is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Process Engineering Projects Manager / Senior Engineer to join the in-house Engineering Team at their busy manufacturing plant. The purpose of this role is to manage multiple projects focused on installing process equipment within the on-site Pilot Plant and support new major plant and process equipment installations when required.
Applications are invited from experienced Project Engineers / Project Managers who have a proven track record of managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously in process driven environments (i.e. chemical, food & beverage, agro-chemical, automotive, pharmaceutical, refining, water or similar). Candidates who have previously been involved in the installation of physical equipment in R&D, pilot plant, and upscaling NPI are of particular interest. You should also have an in depth knowledge and experience of EHS requirements ensuring the safe installation of equipment including HAZOP / COSH / LOPA.

This is a challenging role; the successful applicant will need to be flexible, determined and self-motivated. You must have excellent project management skills and the ability to co-ordinate resource requirements and have process design experience. Candidates must have a proven track record of full project lifecycle management including demonstrable experience of EHS requirements as well as an appreciation of British and European Standards and directives. Applicants should be educated to a minimum degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject such as Chemical Engineering / Process Engineering or similar Science/Engineering discipline and ideally qualified in a relevant project management certification such as Prince2, APN, etc. Part of this role involves contributing towards upscaling of processes and equipment from the pilot plant, so previous experience of designing process or equipment and/or drawing / CAD experience are all desirable but not essential.
