Air conditioning plays a role in providing comfort to an aeroplane's passengers and crew. The jet engines take in the exterior air which will then be transmitted to the air bearing turbine engines. Depending on the type of aircraft, these turbines may be mechanical, electrical or pneumatic. This hot air will then be mixed with the recycled air in the cabin and circulated again.
