Erickson S-64 Aircrane Helicopter Constructing 115kV Transmission Line Along I-95 in Coastal Georgia

"The job of providing electric power to Georgia's communities takes Coastal Electric Cooperative and Georgia Transmission Corporation into a wide range of environments. A portion of the new Burnt Church to Tradeport 115 kV Transmission Line being constructed between Liberty and Bryan counties for Coastal Electric Cooperative will run through the coastal salt marshes, requiring innovative construction techniques to protect and preserve this environmental treasure. Using an Erickson Air-Crane helicopter, we finished the job leaving hardly a footprint in the marsh."
