Air Partner offers dream helicopter charter over the London

Six year old, Abel from Lambeth had his dream come true when he had the chance to take the controls of a helicopter before enjoying an incredible flight over the London skyline.

Abel Seleshi, who has spina bifida and hydrocephalus, which has left him unable to stand or walk and reliant on a wheelchair was given the opportunity to hold the controls of Elite Helicopters' Agusta A109 helicopter before taking off from the grounds of his primary school in West Dulwich, we gave Abel the chance to enjoy a bird's eye view of London flying as low as 500 feet over the Olympic Stadium and the London Eye.

In association with WellChild, the national charity for sick children, Air Partner carefully planned and orchestrated this special trip for Abel and by sponsoring the PLC Awards on 6th March will raise money to help the charity continue to provide essential support for seriously ill children, young people and their families across the UK.

Paul Richardson, director of Air Partner's private jet division said, "Abel is a truly courageous and deserving young boy and flying him today has been a highlight in the life of our company. If making his dream come true has brought him happiness and underscored the wonderful work that WellChild do, we have achieved some good."

After the helicopter ride, Abel's emotional mother Gemansh added, "This has been the best day of our lives."
