MISSION


The Flight Safety department is in charge of three main activities: accident investigations, Safety Management System within ATR, as well as accident prevention.


The job holder will be assisting the Regional Flight Safety Director in detecting prevention opportunities and putting in place mitigation actions.



ACTIVITIES


The job holder will primarily focus on the following tasks:



  • Build a risk matrix map of all ATR operators

  • Track risk mitigation actions

  • Support Regional Flight Safety Plan Committees



More generally, he/she will assist the Regional Safety Plan director in the following tasks:



  • Gather all inputs in order to keep up to date the outputs of the tool RAISE (Risk Assessment Indicator for Safety Enhancement).

  • Coordinate evolutions of RAISE

  • Propose a process to keep the risks per operator up-to-date.

  • Participate to the Regional Flight Safety Steering Committee and Regional Flight Safety Regional committees in order to propose/track mitigation actions.

  • Develop the Safety Performance Indicators that will enable to measure the efficiency of the system

  • Monitor and evaluate the results of corrective actions

  • Maximize communication to airlines (use of dedicated safety website, check available webinars, conferences)

  • Monitor guidelines from various international institutions

  • Interact with ATR Training center, ATR Customer Care, ATR Regional Flight Safety Managers

  • Propose / update visual management of the activity




PROFILE
