A vacancy for a Development Engineer - Actuators & Mechatronics (m / f) has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in Marignane.
You will join a team of 40 people in the mechanical flight control system & hydraulic department in charge of the development and the sustaining of the helicopters actuation solutions
Your mission will consist of the development of the new actuation systems for helicopters & new platforms
Tasks & accountabilities
You will be responsible for the following main activities:
• Study & develop flight control actuators (guarantee technical performance, compliance with development planning, objective costs, etc.)
• Coordinate the scope of contributors (program, project, prototype, production & assembly lines, flight tests, suppliers, purchasing, avionics, general studies ...)
• Guarantee flight safety and the airworthiness of the systems under its responsibility (certification, treatment of non-conformities and incidents in use)
• Deal with projects relating to current flight and hydraulic control systems (series) in parallel with new actuator developments
His personal qualities will allow him to:
• Work in a multidisciplinary team (mechanics, hydraulics, actuators) with many interfaces
• Work in an international environment (department based on two sites: Marignane & Donauworth)
• Bring & develop mechatronics skills within the department
• Quickly develop your helicopter skills
You have the following experiences and skills:
• Engineer diploma or Master's degree in science
• At least 3 years of engineering experience
• At least 3 years of experience in project management
• Expertise in electromechanical actuators
• Knowledge of mechanics, hydraulic systems, critical systems, model based system engineering and ARP4754A system engineering will be an advantage
• Knowledge of AMESim, Dymola and Matlab IT tools
• Negotiation level of French and English.
