Specifically, You Will:

The Head of Airbus Export Control is responsible for overseeing and promoting the Airbus Export Compliance Programme and ensuring it is implemented in a coherent and pragmatic way across the Group. In particular the Head of the Export Control Programme Office ensures that the key elements of the Airbus Export Control Programme are properly implemented.
Licensing Export Control Manager is responsible overseeing the licensing strategy for Airbus Export Control, including overseeing the processes to ensure proper management and review of licensing across the organisation.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Work with the operational Export Control teams develop and implement a strategy for the application and management of US Export Control licences across the Company.
Provide advice on the development of technology to support licence management and monitoring.
Oversee the implementation of Airbus Directives and Methods relating to licensing and inbound/ outbound activity.
Develop second level of controls to enable monitoring of licenses and associated agreements to ensure consistency and completeness of authorisations documents.
Continual tracking of the evolution of export regulations and their impact on licencing strategy.
Develop KPIs and management overview of all authorisations and related documents
As required provide legal support in relation to export control and trade compliance alerts, escalation and risk assessments.
As required provide support in relation to the development of policies, procedures and training strategy as they relate to licencing.

Required Educational Background and Experience:
At least 3 years experience working in a multinational environment advising on international trade and export control matters with a good understanding of licence management;
Strong knowledge of US, EU and national export control regulations. In particular a good understanding of the ITAR and EAR;
Strong leadership and communication skills; sound business judgment; ability to appropriately involve others in consultations and decisions;
Excellent writing skills required to write and edit policies and procedures, reports and memorandums;
Strong relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills;
High degree of initiative, credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust;
Ability to quickly earn the respect of senior management in order to be credible and effective in this complex and constantly-developing environment;
Languages: Negotiation level of English; French or German is considered a plus.
