One vacancy for Purchasing Manager in Propulsion Services Procurement have risen within Airbus in Toulouse within the Propulsion Service & Support department which is responsible for developing the aftermarket service for propulsion and nacelles parts



Your main accountabilities will:




  • Be responsible for the management of contracts throughout the full life cycle of the products.

  • Enforce compliance between contracts terms & conditions and the activities conducted by the supplier and by Airbus.

  • Commit the Company by achieving the signature of contractual agreements.

  • Manage the alignment across the different Company functions (mainly Programs, Supply Chain, Engineering, Customer Services and Customer Affairs) for purchased products

  • Ensure professional and trusting supplier relationship management with major aeronautical industry players

  • Have a large number of interfaces including Engines suppliers, Engines MROs and Airbus aircraft programs, Supply Chain, Customer Services, Customer Affairs, Quality, Finance, Legal teams.

    Tasks & accountabilities:





Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:



Business dimension :



  • You will contribute to Airbus Services profitability.

  • You will support the commodity by contributing to the definition of commodity strategy and ensures that the associated action plan defined is implemented.

  • You will proactively manage supply chain risks and deviations/litigations




Procurement dimension :



  • You will implement and manage international call for tenders

  • You will support rating campaign and ensure appropriate follow-up of measures.



Service dimension :



  • You will work with Customer services to get customer feedback and expectations on products.

  • You will manage supplier performance with regards to in service events.

  • You will work with Customer services representatives to define and implement Airbus aftermarket strategy for your perimeter, enabling new services and creating value for our Customers



Outputs :



  • Efficient, consistent and trusting relationships built with key stakeholders (Suppliers, MROs, Brokers Programs, Customer Services and Affairs, Legal).

  • Supplier selection in line with commodity strategy

  • Contractual agreements, up-to-date and compliant with the Procurement Policies.

  • Supplier risks and issues management.

  • Supplier rating reflecting the actual performance of the supplier.





Hard skills :



  • 5-year degree level in Engineering or Business school or equivalent.

  • Experience in Engines manufacturers, Engines MROs business, Airlines

  • Effective contract negotiator with legal awareness.

  • Experience in supplier relationship Management and Procurement, or other equivalent experience in managing outside stakeholder.

  • Good technical understanding of Aircraft and Engines

  • Negotiation level of English is required
