As a member of the ZEROe project, you will join a team of highly motivated and valuable people who are involved in aircraft concept exploration, technologies development, next generation industrial system and future hydrogen ecosystem preparation that will shape the development of our zero-emission aviation.
We are looking for talented candidates who can reinforce our project team by bringing their experience in their field of expertise as well as making the difference through proven interpersonal and collaboration skills.
As part of the Propulsion System Integration team in the Airbus Design Office, you will contribute to the development of the different hydrogen propulsion system concepts supporting the ZEROe project.
You will support the elaboration and the execution of the development plan of the propulsion system concepts, including associated V&V plan and flight clearance, in order to ensure that the right technologies, competences and technical steps are being developed and performed, and that flight demonstrators bring adequate inputs to the final product.
You will build strong collaboration with a large community of stakeholders, inside Airbus (systems engineering teams, flight test, ?) and also with external industrial partners (equipment' suppliers, engine and nacelle manufacturers) and Research Centers
Your Main Responsibilities will be to
Propose/challenge/validate architecture trades on each of running projects
Propose and trade integration solutions for the Propulsion System
Coordinate and interface with all the various key actors of the project, internally and with the different external partners and suppliers
Develop internal competences and knowledge related to propulsion systems development,for hydrogen configurations
Who We Are Looking For
Required Educational Background and Experience:
Graduate engineer or equivalent in aeronautics or mechanical engineering
At least 10 years of experience working on Overall propulsion system architecture either during development or pre-development,
Experience in V&V and propulsion Program development plan
Experience in certification activities (CS-E/CS-P) would be a plus,
Knowledge on hydrogen combustion or fuel cells is considered as a plus,
Project management experience would be a plus,
Strong relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills;
High degree of initiative, autonomy, innovation mindset and open-minded;
Languages: Negotiation level of English and French/German/Spanish is considered a plus.
