A vacancy for a Robotics Engineer for FAL has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse. You will join the BKIOP, Final Assembly Processes department.
Airbus is accelerating step changes evolution of its industrial system by integrating automated systems on key components and critical workstations. Here, aim of automation is to enable high volume production rate and reduce variability of processes compared to conventional manual processes.
Reporting to Head of Final Assembly Processes in Toulouse you are responsible for design studies, realization and commissioning including design and execution of acceptance test procedures of new robotic systems for Toulouse FAL.
Task & accountabilities :
You will play a key role in our Industrial Organisation. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Being responsible for the analysis of new opportunities for the automation for activities within FAL. The complete scope of assembly processes is envisaged for automation such as drilling, fastening, sealing, measuring etc.
- Architecting, designing, specifying and implementing robotic systems for lightweight and mobile modular robotic product lines (multi trademark modules platform)
- Delivering industrial and mature solutions, warranty that requirements are met and delivered in due time and budget.
- Integrated within the team for corner fitting adjustment process, you will also have a strong participation within the project team around Measurement / reverse Engineering and Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Manufacturing (CAM). Your Robotic background will allow a new vision on the automation of such process.
