A vacancy for Modelling & Simulation Capability cluster manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join the Modelling & Simulation (M&S) team (ZDM) within Digital Design Manufacturing & Services (DDMS) department (ZD).
Airbus is undergoing a significant digital transformation to benefit from the latest advances in new technologies and targets a major efficiency breakthrough across the program and product lifecycle. It will be enabled by a set of innovative concepts such as model based system engineering, modular product lines, digital continuity and concurrent co-design of the product, its industrial setup and operability features.
Task & accountabilities :
Reporting directly to the HO M&S Capabilities portfolio, your role will be to:
o Manage each capabilities of the assigned cluster as a specific asset ensuring that all the key contributing functions (Engineering, Manufacturing and Service) will provide required support and development to match the capability maturity roadmap and evolution plan (this include the ?industrialization? of the capability to be ready for deployment
o Each capability will be managed with a program management approach, the capability champion responsible for budget, delivery and maturity under the lead of the capability cluster manager
o Harmonize capabilities roadmaps vs demonstrators/programs roadmaps to ensure proper support
o Ensure clear visibility of all the possible methodologies integrations of each capability across the portfolio with the related integrated benefits (bigger than benefits that came with stand-alone capabilities implementation) # capabilities integrated frameworks. The main ?customers? are the M&S focal points on the demonstrator (Demonstrators/programs M&S project managers)
o Ensure proper development of new capabilities starting from concepts integrated in the global data model by working closely with the M&S process, ontology and digital continuity team
o Modelling and simulation capabilities, cross disciplines and cross division (full envelope). Each capability is composed by:
o Methodology (how to model, how to simulate)
o Use cases and requirements for toolchain implementation
o Roadmap (including TRLs)
o KPIs to measure capability benefits when implemented (standalone and integrated frameworks)
o Training material (technical content)
o Required skill-set
This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
