Design Engineer CVE Cabin Safety opportunity within an exciting aerospace company based in Ireland. The role is accountable for reviewing design changes and would suit either a graduate, looking to start their career or a qualified Design Engineer with good knowledge of EASA regulations.
In depth review, checking of designs and changes for regulatory compliance, then preparing and developing of design solutions.
Regular liaising with customers, suppliers, OEM\'s and production and maintenance organisations.
Declaration of technical design documentation and solutions
Support the organisation of new projects in preparation of quotations for customers.
Respond to audit findings and take necessary corrective and preventive action
Engage with design management activities and assist in meetings
The right person will have:
In depth knowledge on EASA/FAA regulations which include Part 21 (Part M and Part 145 to a lesser extent) and EASA design standards and CS 25 regulation applicable to area of speciality
Strong communications and relationship building skills, with a creative and innovative mind that will always be one step ahead
Good project management and presentation skills whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality under commercial pressure
Engineering Degree (B.Sc. or equivalent) with 3-5 years relevant experience in a Design Engineering environment or A Part 66 license with 5 years relevant experience including experience in a Design Engineering environment
Solid working experience of AutoCAD and MS Office products
