Few vacancies of Industrial Architect - Project Leader have arisen within Airbus in Toulouse.
There is one role for Composite Components and other roles are for Assembly.
The role of the architect is to be the counterpart of engineering architects for all product changes or development.
The key task is to design an industrial system in an harmonised approach for all make Industrialisations and advice on buy, thus achieving challenges industrial targets.
You will interact with the Engineering architects counterpart for a good balance between the aircraft and the industrial system performance.
You will define and develop, based on DDMS concepts and enablers (product line, co-design, MBSE, digital continuity) as well as on any other non-digital solutions, methodologies, activities within the End to End Industrial System to be process in order to secure the definition of the global optimum of the product, its industrial system and its support & services system.
Task & accountabilities :
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
a. Designing and delivering Industrial system architecture
b. Delivering specification for the development of the industrial system
c. Influencing the product architecture
d. Defining and coordinating the industrial requirements
e. Leading all manufacturing and supply chain activities prior to MG3
f. Building a consistent development planning
g. Pulling R&T and R&D topic and planning towards industrial needs
h. Driving the best industrial solution's
i. Influencing make or buy decision
j. Influencing supplier selection
k. Developing the industrial architect network
l. Driving the ME plants by providing architect knowledge and lesson learnt
m. Driving the Non Specific work stream activities and development
n. Managing the deployment of the industrial DMU
o. Providing input into the Technical Assumptions and Deliverables for Supplier contracts
p. Leading the development of non-specific processes in conjunction with R&T, Specific and Non Specific Design Engineering
q. Leading the Manufacturing Engineering work stream transversal activities for non-specific processes
r. Creating and managing a forum for challenging Design Engineering strategy and direction which affects non-specific processes
s. Providing work stream technical advice to the Head Industrial in the Plants
t. Co-ordinating the introduction of new technology applications and new ways of working
u. Carrying out specific investigations into Manufacturing Engineering ways of working across the Airbus Manufacturing and assembly functions
v. Assuring and enabling all documentation is in place transnationally for all harmonised or specific process's deployed
w. Clear business benefit have been identified for all harmonisation activities.
x. Plan for all activities maintained and managed for all activities.
