The department purpose is to provide a Fault Investigation Service to the Business for the resolution of problems received from stakeholders and customers in the area of Fault/Accident Investigation.
In support of Company Objectives, the process for conducting the above Business is aimed at providing a timely, cost effective response, to identify the cause and corrective action for non-conformance and condition of the product, to provide support for product improvement and to identify airworthiness issues.
The Fault Investigation Manager will provide the business with a significant level of specialised skills, knowledge, and advice drawn from given technical discipline. This expertise will be applied to produce realistic, working, solutions to resolve defined problems and challenges that arise within own work area or area of specific technical knowledge. Knowledge of the role holder will be applied to support and reinforce the department effort in effecting significant change upon product capability and improvements to business operations generally. Working in partnership with stakeholders, specialised skills must be deployed to develop policy, processes, tools, and methods, that satisfy both business and customer requirements and needs. The role holder will manage and lead effectively a defined group or team.
