Description of the job :
A vacancy for a Flight Data Analyst & Project Manager (m/f) has arisen within NAVBLUE in Toulouse.

The Project Manager reports to the Head of Consulting team within the NAVBLUE #irline Flight Operations Solutions business line.
He/she coordinates a multifunctional project team composed of Subject Matter Experts, consultants, pilots and subcontractors (external).
He/she supplies technical expertise in Flight Data Analysis (FDA) domain to various NAVBLUE projects (consulting, services and products).
He/she manages external stakeholders including Airlines Flight Operations, Training, Safety departments as well as local Airworthiness Authorities.

The Project Manager is responsible to manage execution of a set of projects worldwide after hand-over from sales and to ensure commitments are met in terms of timing, quality and budget.
In order to do so he/she will work with Customers in a global environment driven by efficiency and safety performance.

He/she is accountable for:
- Managing the global customer relationship and understanding complex situations from various flight operations and safety performance perspectives
- Managing a broad project team (pilots, flight ops and safety management experts)
- Supplying technical expertise in Flight Data Analysis (FDA) domain to various
NAVBLUE projects.

This role requires frequent international business trips.


Task & accountabilities :
Your main tasks and activities will include:
The jobholder will participate to the development of all NAVBLUE activities in the domain of flight data analysis and safety management with a primary focus on the Flight Data Analysis management service and safety program projects:
- Be the technical referent for the flight data analysis preparation
- Lead and manage projects (engagement leader) from beginning to end:

o Define project scope with the understanding of each Airline organization
o Set up and coordinate a multifunctional project team composed of experts, pilots and subcontractors (external)
o Manage external stakeholders including airlines Flight Operations and Safety departments
o Manage several projects per year
o Coordinate with several Airbus and NAVBLUE departments.
- Ensure contract implementation on time, on quality and on budget:
o Stakeholders management up to CEO level
o Risk and Cost Management
o Operationally manage a transversal team
o Interface with the Customer
o Ensure adherence to NAVBLUE product related processes.
- Collect and provide to the Consulting team relevant feedback on project implementation (lessons-learnt), propose continuous improvement of NAVBLUE product, support Sales and Marketing team (marketing material preparation and sales campaign activity).

Required profile


Required skills :
Master degree in Aeronautics with a minimum 10 years' experience within the field of safety management and flight data analysis in an Airline Safety department a previous commercial pilot experience is considered as additional asset
• Operational practice of Flight Data Monitoring software (AirFASE or equivalent), occurrence analysis, crew interview, threat and error management and safety investigation
• Knowledge of Air Transport System, ops regulation and international standards
• Expertise in audit techniques to assess organization, people, tools/means (Problemsolving, analytical and strategic planning ability)
• Expertise in risk assessment and root cause analysis
• Ability to manage a team, to convince people, to make decisions and to report to executive levels
• Experience in project management (Stakeholders and suppliers management, Risk and cost management as well as project governance)
• Advanced interpersonal and communication (both oral and written) skills (strong coordination and relational skills needed to deal with customers and aviation experts)
• Entrepreneurial, creative & business minded
• Negotiation level in English.

The position has been graded IIIA/IIIB.
