OneWeb Satellites is seeking candidates for the position of Avionics and Solar Array Operational Manager (M/F) in Toulouse.
The jobholder will lead a multi-functional team made of representatives of all the departments of the company (engineering, supply chain, quality, manufacturing engineering and production) focusing on the two modules of our satellite.
The jobholder will be in charge to coordinate all activities leading to production and delivery of a fully qualified and compliant platform to integrate on a satellite, from design changes implementation & qualification to production preparation and ramp up in our new facility in Florida.
Task & accountabilities :
Your main tasks and activities will include:
• Project manager, ultimately responsible of schedule and costs involved from design closure to timely production of the modules of the avionics and solar array modules.
• Coordinate multifunctional team, take timely decisions when transverse topics arise in order to maintain momentum and secure production schedule.
• Authority to manage and mitigate risks. When exceeding its autonomy of decision, organize synthesis and tradeoff and escalate to upper management.
• Will work closely with other operational managers
