Plant Modification Project Facilitator (Engineering Coordinator)
My world class manufacturing client, based in South Cambridgeshire / North Hertfordshire, is currently seeking to recruit a Plant Modifications Engineer to join their Engineering Maintenance Team at their busy manufacturing site. Working as a Plant Modification Facilitator you will oversee the implementation of modifications and changes to improve efficiency and reliability of plant equipment and industrial processes - you will own all non-permanent modifications and be a key stakeholder involved in permanent modifications. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing mechanical and electrical contractors and ensuring that risk assessments and agreed method statements are in place.
They are looking for motivated candidates with excellent engineering skills, knowledge and hands-on experience of plant management including maintaining and upgrading a wide range of equipment. Applications are invited from engineers with previous project management experience within a heavy manufacturing and/or high volume, process driven environments (i.e. automotive, chemical, food, agro-chemical, pharmaceutical, refining, or similar). Previous experience of plant design and compliance are desirable.

Strong communication, organisational and time management skills are essential. A full UK driving licence and a good level of computer skills would be advantageous.
