Our client is a world class chemicals manufacturer, based in Hertfordshire, currently seeking to recruit a Production Manager to work at their busy Chemicals Manufacturing Plant. The emphasis for the successful candidate is on excellent team work and managerial skills within a production manufacturing environment. Applications are invited from experienced Production Managers as well as ambitious production team leaders who have worked in high volume, process driven environments (i.e. chemical, food, agro-chemical, automotive, pharmaceutical, refining, or similar) and have aspirations to progress into management positions in the future.

A Team Leading or Management Qualification would be an advantage, as would a technical qualification in a chemical engineering related discipline, (i.e. chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, etc). Previous experience of sampling and operating chemical processes or similar will be advantageous but not necessary.
This is a challenging role; the successful applicant will be flexible, determined and self-motivated, with experience of managing in a shift production environment.
