An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Co-ordinator within a Global, fast paced, Automotive business to support Production by coordinating the receipt, response and monitoring of concerns raised at the customer, ensuring containment action is taken, root cause analysis and permanent long term actions are implemented. At all times act in a manner that promotes the vision and values of the business.

This role is shift based and will consist of 3 rotating shifts (earlies, lates, nights)
As the Quality Co-ordinator you will be responsible for:
* Driving and ensuring compliance of standardized and quality methods of working in accordance with the ODS, quality alerts and company standards and procedures (including BOS), including supporting and leading on audits where required.
*Problem Solving - proactively engage and lead in problem solving with cross functional teams using various problem solving tools to close any issues
*Support all aspects of the Plant by providing technical quality support, proposing new methods of implementing and controlling quality standards through continuous improvement, in support of Production achieving Right First Time and customer quality requirements.
*Proactively liaise with the customer keeping them updated and informed at all times
*Ensure that quality audits are completed accurately and in a timely manner in support of cus- tomer requirements, including (but not exhaustive) TS16949, PPAP and Control Plan
*Ensure that all relevant reports, Quality systems and Quality audits are completed accurately and in a timely manner, communicating throughout the Plant in a professional manner.
*Prepare documentation for both internal and external measurables and evaluate by tracking quality performance, proactively highlighting issues or trends working with Plant teams and the customer to resolve root cause
*Ensure suppliers adhere to all quality standards, coordinate containment activities, and liaise with them to develop their quality systems and output in support of our requirements
*Ensure that all Plant personnel have a thorough understanding of the Quality System, and work to the recognised methodologies, techniques and procedures, including remote workers.
*Manage and plan resource to support the Control Plan, ensuring that it is regularly reviewed and updated informing stakeholders of any changes
*Ensure that customer and any internal Quality issues are resolved using industry recognised problem solving methods such as: 8D Report; Problem Solving Document (PSD); PCAD; Kep- ner-Tregoe etc.
To be successful in the role of Quality Co-ordinator you will have the following skills and experience:
*Minimum 5 years\' experience in a Quality field
*Minimum 2 years\' experience leading a team
*Experience of working in manufacturing, preferably automotive
*Good knowledge of Quality Systems and industry recognised tools
*Excellent IT Skills
