Job Description

I am working closely with my leading manufacturing client to recruit a Reliability Centred Maintenance Engineer / Technician to join the on-site Engineering Maintenance Team at their busy Manufacturing Plant near Basingstoke, Hampshire. This role is being offered with an attractive salary and benefits package within a company with an excellent reputation for developing their staff and facilitating clear career progression opportunities.

The purpose of this role (as part of the Maintenance Team) is to improve equipment reliability across the site and develop predictive maintenance into their Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) strategy. This will contribute towards the Maintenance Team\'s ability to safely maintain the diverse range of equipment on site, both planned preventative and corrective, in order to facilitate the smooth and maximise efficient operations of the business.

We are looking for candidates with excellent engineering skills, knowledge and experience of Condition-based Maintenance (CBM) and/or Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) of a wide range of equipment and technologies using techniques such as root cause analysis, vibration analysis, static & dynamic testing of electric motors, thermography (IRT), ultrasonic testing, sampling and analysing of fluids, fault diagnosis based on interpreting data, or similar. Applications are invited from maintenance technicians / engineers who have worked in process driven manufacturing environments (i.e. chemical, food & beverage, agro-chemical, pharmaceutical, paper, glass, refining, or similar).

This is a challenging role; the successful applicant will be flexible, determined and self-motivated. Candidates must have previously carried out maintenance within a process-driven manufacturing industry and hold a recognised qualification or completed a recognised apprenticeship. Previous experience of a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) would be beneficial, as would Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
