We are a world class manufacturing client to recruit Store/Warehouse Team Leader to work at our busy Manufacturing Plant in Royston, Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will direct and support members of the stores team to achieve KPIs whilst ensuring all EHS requirements are met. In addition, you will also be integral to the development and implementation of a departmental improvement plan, so people with previous continuous improvement (CI) and LEAN experiences are of interest. The successful candidate can expect to earn salary of £28-32K + with attractive benefits including pension scheme.
Applications are invited from Stores and Warehouse Team Leaders, Supervisors and Managers who have worked within either a chemical production or clean room environment (i.e. chemical, agro-chemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, or similar). Candidates must be COSHH qualified and have experience of the storing and transporting of hazardous materials. Candidates with Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA) qualification and /or experience of working on a COMAH site are highly desirable, but not essential.
This is a challenging role; the successful applicant will be flexible, determined and self-motivated. A degree in Manufacturing Systems, Chemistry, Engineering or similar will be advantageous but not necessary. A fork-lift licence will also be of great benefit.
