Description of the job :
The goal of Digital Workplace (ZIW) is to make a significant and positive impact on the way Airbus employees work, collaborate and share information as well as providing a foundational step for the digital transformation of Airbus. This is achieved through the deployment and support of new tools and technologies enabling better cross functional collaboration, improved productivity, greater company integration, and improved transparency and more open and horizontal information exchange. A critical element required to achieve success for Digital Workplace (DWP) is a clearly defined strategy supported by effective transformation plan and operational controls.
The Technology Specialist role is to be an expert in the Connected Objects products able to translate business requirements and utilize existing infrastructure services or design the necessary infrastructure to bring innovation to production.
Working as part of the Connected Objects Team:-
1 - Assist and guide innovators to integrate smart hardware solutions into Airbus IM infrastructure environment.
2 - Based on business requirements and emerging smart devices, as part of a MFT team, establish incubation environment to identify solutions, benefits and build use cases.
2 - Provide support to establish production and support services covering the lifecycle and evolution of the hardware.
3 - Help making new connected techs product and knowledge available to everyone.
Task & accountabilities :
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
• Contributing to the Connected Objects' vision of taking innovations to production.
• Build trusting relationships with key business technology partners.
• Review and develop solutions that are fit for evolving business technology requirements.
• Identify quick to implement connected devices that can benefit Airbus.
• Develop connected devices into use cases with design thinking.
• Network with other IOT specialists.
• Keep up-to-date with Airbus specification on WiFi/Network/security configurations.
• Help preparing architecture dossiers for projects.
• Support and guide product integration process.
