Boc Aviation completes delivery of Airbus aircraft orders to Iberia

BOC Aviation Pte. Ltd. (“BOC Aviation”) is pleased to announce that Iberia, the Spanish carrier, has taken delivery of all 12 Airbus aircraft, comprising eight new A330-300 and four new A320 aircraft.

All 12 aircraft were delivered to Iberia between February 2013 and April 2014.

“These transactions demonstrate BOC Aviation’s capacity to support customer needs for large capital volume transactions at all points in the cycle,’’ said Mr. Steven Townend, Chief Commercial Officer (Europe, Americas & Africa). BOC Aviation’s commitment to these deliveries spanned three financial years and underlined the company’s ability to provide long-term support to its key customers.

“As a new customer of BOC Aviation, we have been impressed by their support and the solutions they provided that added financial and operational flexibility to our fleet,” said Mr. Javier Sánchez-Prieto, Chief Financial Officer of Iberia.

The Company has one of the youngest fleets in the industry with an average owned aircraft age of less than four years.
