Pilatus Aircraft Ltd appoints Air Alliance GmbH as the official Pilatus PC-24 Sales and Service Centre for Germany and Austria. Air Alliance is now authorised to represent Pilatus for both the PC-24 Super Versatile Jet and the PC-12 NG.

Air Alliance GmbH has been committed to first-class customer service in general and business aviation for over 20 years. Having started out as a small hangar operation, the company has grown into a state-of-the-art provider of aviation services. Air Alliance has marketed the PC-12 NG since 2014 and currently employs over 100 people in Burbach, at Airport Siegerland in Germany.

"We made an excellent start with Air Alliance with regard to the PC-12 NG and are delighted that we have been able to appoint the same company to act as our agent for our new Super Versatile Jet", says André Zimmermann, VP PC-24, at Pilatus.

Wolfgang Krombach, Managing Director of Air Alliance GmbH, adds: "The brand-new PC-24 is the perfect aircraft for Germany and Austria. The world's first business jet to be equipped with a cargo door as standard, the PC-24 is designed to be operated in and out of very short runways, bringing future owners closer to their final destination, i.e. getting them where they want to go, faster. We are very excited about the launch of the new Pilatus jet."

The first PC-24 prototype completed its maiden flight in Buochs in early May 2015. There will be three PC-24 prototypes in total, and they will be used to fly a comprehensive 2,300 hour test programme over the next two years. Certification and delivery of the first series-produced aircraft to customers are scheduled from 2017 onwards.
