GE Aviation H Series-powered Let L410 receives FAA certification

Aircraft Industries’ L410 UVP-E20 aircraft powered by GE’s H Series engine received Federation Aviation Administration (FAA) certification.
“Thanks to the FAA certification, we are able to enter new markets in North and Central America,” said Miroslav Kožíšek, Aircraft Industries’ Product Support Director & Commercial Director.
To date, more than 1,200 L410/L420 series aircraft manufactured by Aircraft Industries or its preceding companies operate in more than 50 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe.
In addition to the L410, the H Series turboprop engine has been selected to power a variety of aircraft, including the Nextant Aerospace G90XT, Thrush Aircraft 510G and CAIGA AG300 aircraft. Since entering into service in 2011, GE has manufactured more than 200 H Series engines. Built to handle harsh conditions and extreme environments, the H Series engine is an ideal power plant for both new and STC aircraft applications serving a variety of segments, including agriculture, utility, commuter and business aircraft all around the world.
