Like other aircraft manufacturers, ATR is placing more emphasis on incremental innovation than on introducing breakthrough technologies. However, it is clear that the Franco-Italian manufacturer is working constantly to improve its product in relation to competitors who are experiencing difficulties. This principle also applies to the customer support sector, where ATR strengthened its capacities during 2018 and means to carry on in 2019.
