Effective January 1, 2019, Serge Pons has been appointed President of Safran Ventilation Systems. He succeeds Bruno Bergoend, who has been named Senior Vice President, Airbus and ATR Programs at Safran.
Serge Pons has spent his entire carrer in the Group, he joined Hispano-Suiza1in 1990 where he became successively Methods Manager, Programs Manager and Production Manager until 1999. Then he was named Director of Production at Labinal² before moving to Snecma Services3 in 2002 as Purchasing improvement Manager, and becoming Vice President Purchasing in 2003. Then, he joined Messier-Bugatti4 in 2006 as Director of Industrial development for the Wheels and Brakes business division, and was appointed Vice-President Purchasing in 2008.
Since 2011, he was Executive Vice President of the Systems Equipment Division of Messier-Bugatti-Dowty4.
Serge Pons, 54, graduated from the ENSAM Engineering school (1988).
