C.G.P (Compagnie Générale des Plastiques) specializes in the design, manufacture and marketing of standard and special electric wires and cables primarily for industrial integrators, major installers and distributors of electrical equipment.

C.G.P has been a major player in fire safety and a key player in the aeronautics, defence and space industries for several decades. We have had customers of distinction such as AIRBUS HELICOPTER, ASTRIUM AIRBUS DEFENCE AND SPACE, STELIA AEROSPACE, DASSAULT AVIATION, MBDA, MATRA for several decades.

Our mastery of all the cable production processes and our experience of more than 50 years in the design of more than 5,000 made-to-order cables has made us an undeniable player in the field of umbilical and special cables.

C.G.P (Compagnie Générale des Plastiques) is a French company owned since 2005 by Mr Tamet Christophe (founder and Chairman and CEO of the PLASTELEC Group). It was formed in 1947 at Croissy sur seine (Yvelines) then moved to SAINT-CHAMOND (Loire), where it was one of the subsidiaries of the MR INDUSTRIES Group for over 5 years.
