La Rochelle - Île de Ré Airport

La Rochelle - Île de Ré Airport (IATA: LRH, ICAO: LFBH) is an airport located 2.5 km northwest of La Rochelle, a commune of the département of Charente-Maritime in France. The airport also serves Île de Ré, which is accessible via a bridge from La Rochelle.

La Rochelle Airport welcomed 180,927 passengers in 2006, an increase of 41,8 % compared to 2005, and of 18,5% per annum on the last 5 years. It's the biggest airport in the region, before Poitiers Airport. Currently, La Rochelle airport traffic evolution is one of the highest in France. The traffic is envisaged to double by 2015.
