UHNL is a 100% Newfoundland and Labrador Company operating primarily in this province with service regularly extending to the Ungava Peninsula, the high Arctic, and other regions of Canada. Our company holds an International Operating Certificate and has completed several contracts in Greenland and the United States.

UHNL began operations in 1963 as Universal Helicopters Ltd. and was once a part of the Okanagan Helicopters group. Now a separate and independent company, UHNL has acquired a vast amount of experience providing specialty helicopter services in austere and remote areas for 50 years. All of our personnel have valuable managerial and field experience in all facets of the helicopter industry as well as our clients' industries. UHNL currently has approximately 50 employees, many of whom have been with our company for decades.
