G280 Steep Approach Capabilities

The Gulfstream G280 has been certified for steep approach operations by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and the Civil Aviation Authority of Israel.

The airplane recently flew several takeoffs and landings at London City Airport, the final step to obtain approval from the London City Airport Operations and Control Department to operate at the airport.

The steep approach is required to clear skyscrapers and land on the airports short runway.
