Space Station Commander Koichi Wakata Discusses Life in Space with Japanese Media

Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 39 Commander Koichi Wakata of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency fielded questions about life and work on the orbital laboratory and his role as the first Japanese commander of the complex during an in-flight question and answer session March 25 with the Mainichi Newspapers of Japan. Wakata, who launched to the station last November in a Russian Soyuz spacecraft, will return to Earth in mid-May.
