ILA Berlin 2014 - Day 1 Recap

The opening day of ILA Berlin 2014 kicked off with the visit of German Chancellor Angela Merkel to the Airbus Helicopters display.
Flight demonstrations followed soon after, including the Tiger, NH90 NFH and EC145 T2.
Visitors were treated to a surprise skydiving performance by Stiftung Mayday -- a foundation that supports pilots, crew members and their families in times of need -- who staged their feats from an EC145 T2.
