Airmen Help Create Afghan Air Force Academy

Afghan Air Force Academy cadets are held to high standards in regards to physical training, education and military customs and courtesies in preparation to become officers in the Afghan Air Force. Nearly 1,000 cadets are being trained to become pilots and mechanical officers in the AAF. Upon graduation from the 12-month academy, the cadets will transfer to technical schools to continue learning job skills while serving in the operational Afghan Air Force.
