A350 XWB is 'Good to go' as it obtains its certification

The A350 XWB received its Type Certification from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) on 30th September 2014, which paves the way for the jetliners planned first customer delivery to Qatar Airways in the fourth quarter. The A350 XWBs on-time certification process which included initial evaluations with suppliers and on test rigs, a rigorous flight test campaign and the global route-proving tour is a years-long process to ensure the aircrafts readiness and maturity at service entry.
