Falcon 5X takes to the Air

There was much celebration in Bordeaux on July 5th 2017 as the long-awaited first flight of the Falcon 5X took place. It was an auspicious beginning to a preliminary flight-test campaign intended to streamline future development. Dassault test pilots Philippe Deleume and Philippe Rebourg were steady at the controls as always, making the two-hour flight an exceptionally smooth one. The 5X will have the tallest and widest cabin in the industry. Entry into service is scheduled for 2020.
