Women in Aerospace: Abbie Hutty

Abbie Hutty is an award-winning engineer and advocate for the industry in the UK. "When I was a teenager, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life," she says. "Then I saw the Airbus Mars Express mission on the news and thought: if engineers make things that go into space, that sounds like a pretty cool thing to do."

Today, Abbie is developing the structure of the ExoMars Rover Vehicle at the Airbus Defence and Space site in Stevenage, UK.
