Space Station Crew Member Discusses Life in Space with the Italian Prime Minister

Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 43 Flight Engineer Samantha Cristoforetti of the European Space Agency discussed her mission and its accomplishments with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi during an in-flight call originating from the Prime Ministers residence in Rome on April 8. Cristoforetti, who is a native of Milan, is in the final weeks of a five and a half month mission on the orbital outpost, planning for a return to Earth in a Soyuz spacecraft on May 14.
