Bearings, slip rings

The bearing is an important component of the structure of a turbojet. This element is used in particular to ensure the mechanical strength of the transmission shaft connecting the compressor to the turbine, but also its rotation at high speed. For example, the thrust bearing, on the front of the engine, is used to prevent the movable assemblies of shoving forward or backward. Finally, in aviation, there are two levels of use : plain bearings and roller bearings.
