Liebherr - Close to the wind: LHM 400 handling rotor blades

#windenergy #tandemlifting #mobileharbourcrane

Blomberg Stevedoring has long experience in versatile cargo handling at the port of Vaasa, Kalajoki and Kristiinankaupunki (Finland).

They operate two Liebherr mobile harbour cranes type LHM 400 with a maximum lifting capacity of up to 104 tonnes and an outreach of 48 metres.

The facilities of Blomberg Stevedoring are centrally located on the Gulf of Bothnia with good connections to the whole country. From here they are increasingly supplying the onshore and offshore wind industry and loading various wind turbine components. The two Liebherr mobile harbour cranes are ideally suited for this and have been supporting the handling operation very successfully and reliably for many years. The powerful hydrostatic drive and Liebherr's own electronics make the cranes a very precise working tool for handling large and heavy goods. Thanks to the advanced Liebherr control system, handling is not only very efficient, but above all very safe.
