MTU Highlights - first half of 2019

We are already looking today to the answers for tomorrow's questions. In the first half of 2019, we have some highlights to report. Here you will find an overview of our innovations, achievements and tasks that will continue to keep us busy. Above all, we are working on our future and emission-free flying.

Here are the steps in detail:
- Together with Safran we developed the engine for Europe's next generation fighter aircraft
- The MTUPlus Intelligent Solution has been launched
- Maintenance collected orders worth 4.4 billion US dollars in 2018
- We celebrated 10 years of MTU Aero Engines Polska, the topping-out ceremony in Jasinoka and the opening of the new logistics center in Berlin-Brandenburg
- Location development is also progressing in Serbia
- Our participation in the E-hybrid small aircraft Silent Air Taxi is official, accordingly we have signed the European declaration of intent for emission-free flying
- Evolutionary and revolutionary propulsion concepts for civil aircraft have been launched
- At Paris Air Show 2019, we collected orders worth US$1.3 billion
