The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) talks about their new polycarbonate drivers license and ID. The team, headed by Chrissy Nizer, share their experience migrating from mixed over-the-counter printing to central issuance of the new Maryland license. Working with Thales, the transition was smooth and efficient and the benefits have been significant; reduced counterfeiting thanks to numerous state-of-the-art security features, improved experiences at the MVA branches, low waste factors and REAL ID compliance.
