Alcoa Foundation partners with Instituto Vitória Régia on a Green Locomotive Project

In Brazil, Alcoa Foundation has partnered with Instituto Vitória Régia, a non-profit organization near our Juruti bauxite mine, on a Green Locomotive Project, planting native seedlings on land identified by the community for rehabilitation. This environmental work, which is taking place in the community, complements the work that we do at our site to restore biodiversity after mining operations are completed. The project is also helping to generate additional income in the local community. Together, we continue to advance sustainably!
