At Clean Sky, we're working on greener engines for reduced noise and fuel burn, but how can we test the integration of these engines for the best results?

Enter the SA2FIR project: a test rig simulator equipped with sensors to measure parameters such as aerodynamics and acoustics, to enable engineers to optimise the integration of new engine types!

This is a great collaboration between several European partners, including Airbus, Safran, DLR, NLR, ONERA and more, in the framework of the EU's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
