In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.
The purpose of this role is to support all aspects of engineering and operational performance through active involvement in new product introduction, quality assurance, continuous improvement and direct employee development.
Key Responsibilities will include:
? Support manufacturing engineering and operational performance during the NPI and
production process to establish world class operational performance in Safety, Quality,
Productivity, Delivery, People Development and Continuous Improvement.
? Support manufacturing engineering and operations to improve process and product
quality assurance via A3 / 8D and PFMEA methodology.
? Participate in team based CI activities to support engineering and operational
development of world class working practices.
? Mentor, train and support the continual development of direct employee skill set. Ensure
that safe and efficient working practices are maintained on a daily basis within the
manufacturing process.
? Generating, auditing and maintenance of supporting engineering process documentation
such as PQA's, SOP's and PVP's.
