Financial Analyst (M/F)

Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for a Financial Analyst within the Finance department. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.

This Financial Analyst position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements whilst adhering to accounting principles.

Role Responsibilities will include:

• Financial reporting - prepare, analyse and interpret financial statements (balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements).
• Month-End and Year-End - complete procedures including adjusting journal entries and accruals. Financial reports for managers and stakeholders.
• Budgeting and Forecasting - assist in development of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide analysis.
• Financial Software and Systems - utilise financial software and systems to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Tax compliance - prepare and file tax returns with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Audit and Compliance - collaborate with auditors during financial audits and ensure a smooth process.

Skills and Experience required:

• 5 years plus of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• BA in Accounting or Finance or similar field or part qualification with relevant accounting body.
• Good under pressure, personable, good attention to detail, organised and strong communication skills.

Day shift with potential for hybrid working once settled.
