Zodiac Seats is proud to announce the introduction of a brand new generation of seats for the premium economy class.

The Z500 Premium Economy class seat is designed to offer a modern, comfortable and spacious living space whilst not compromising cabin density. The innovative new seat frame design delivers much improved knee and foot space, without major tradeoffs on weight or performance. The space gained means that a passenger in a Z500 seat pitched at 38 inches, can enjoy the knee room of a more traditional seat at 40 inches, also, special attention has been put on attributes like a one-piece table and other distinctive features.

Newly designed pockets in the armrests accommodate tablets or small laptops, in addition to the large literature pocket on the seat back, individual cocktail trays and optional water bottle holders. Customers can also select a headrest mounted reading light for additional convenience. RAVE and other popular IFE systems may be accommodated, with up to 15.4in seat back mounted monitors. The SPM and SEB are hidden in the console behind maintenance friendly covers. No IFE system? No problem – a tablet holder may also be selected.

The Z500 is displayed at Aircraft Interiors Americas in Seattle from October 14th to October 16th 2014 on Zodiac Aerospace booth #119.

The High Density Business Class seat, Aries, is also displayed during the show. The concept seat had been unveiled in 2013 and already has a launch customer. Aries is a unique business class seat offering a maximized passenger count (up to 20% more) with optimal comfort (full flat bed with direct aisle access) by smartly using the 3D space of the cabin.
