Join our Toulouse team as Ergonomist !
A vacancy for an Ergnomist (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse (Astrolabe site).
As the successful candidate you will join the Spacecraf Production France department, driven by the enthusiasm of developing and improving manufacturing systems within Astrolabe plant, to produce spacecraft.
Our ambition is to have best-in-class industrial systems to improve efficiency of our production workshops in excellent working conditions for our people, and we need you to design & advise on future production lines/ test facilities and to improve existing ones.
You will have the opportunity to support, as an expert, the development of industrial solutions with a focus on human health & safety, by delivering human factors risk analysis, and specifications for workplaces design and or adaptation.
Tasks & accountabilities
With your in-depth knowledge of human factors, regulations and proven experience in health and safety topics, you will address key Airbus industrial challenges
You will perform ergonomics studies and deliver recommendations and actions plan, deliver specifications for jigs & tools, buildings, process, work organization?, evaluate design solution against ergonomics objectives, identify and communicate on main industrial risks involving human factors issues
You will work in interface with the SSE-E coordinator of the plant and several plant stakeholders, within multidisciplinary teams.
Additional details about the responsibilities of the role
You will work in close collaboration with shop floor actors, assembly lines project leaders and all support functions to support:
Human factors expertise integration into the design of industrial processes, industrial means, work organization?for new and existing assembly lines;
Human health/safety and performance
The compliance with the French regulation regarding ergonomics matter and health and safety at work domain, by delivering human factors risk analysis, and specifications for workplaces design and or adaptation
Implementation of the EMMA methodology.
Educated to 5 years degree level in ergonomics Ability to motivate and challenge operational & management teams Good sense of contact allowing good team work Customer-oriented and determined to succeed with reliability, autonomy and initiative Knowledge on production environments Pragmatism and pro-active approach to propose solution.
