Presales Engineer - E2E communications (H/F)

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Presales Engineer - E2E communications (f/m)  to join our team based in  Elancourt, France.

We are currently looking for a Presales Engineer with technical background who can work closely with our customers to understand their needs, provide guidance to them on solution options and can lead a technical team as part of a bid team through to contract award.

The successful person will work closely with the France Business Growth team to produce a technical strategy and solution that can be clearly articulated to our customers in an understandable way. They will be used to presenting and discussion solutions to customers.

As part of the bid team you will be required to orchestrate technical reviews, ensure specialist engineers are involved and deliver a coherent technical proposal on time and on budget.

As a Presales Engineer you will work closely with all functions and should have the following :

Skills :
? Basic Knowledge of Satellite communications (Geo and Leo)
? An understanding of satellite modems both military and commercial
? An understanding of Logistic Support (ILS, spares, support contracts)
? An understanding of project schedules

Tasks and Responsibilities :
? Lead the technical bid team and actively contribute to the supplier/partner negotiations.
? Follow Engineering bidding process and ensure program deliverables. 
? This job requires a person that can work closely with many stakeholders and can communicate complex technical concepts in a simple to understand way.

Requirements :
? Degree in Engineering or equivalent

? Minimum of 5 years experience
? Eligibility for France security clearance is highly desirable

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
